Forest Glade Holiday Park, Cullompton

Surrounded by woodland, there are endless adventures to be enjoyed right from Forest Glade’s doorstep; den building, tree climbing, becoming a nature detective, or tiptoeing between the trees to try and spot deer. Offering a safe and relaxed atmosphere, on site you will find a children’s play area and ball games area (both away from park roads), games room and soft play, all weather tennis court and an aerial runway too… but with new changing facilities and a new pool enclosure, the heated indoor swimming pool at Forest Glade Holiday Park is the jewel in the park’s crown.

Westermill Farm, Exmoor

Westermill Farm is the perfect place to escape reality in a relaxed and tranquil setting. On a working farm, it is ideal for kids with endless imagination who love nothing more than discovering something new. With excellent local walks into the valley, Exmoor on your doorstep and the seaside just a short drive away, there are hours of fun to be had in the countryside. Paddle in the steam or try a spot of fishing in the river, swing on the rope swing, explore the old tractor, and finish each day gathered around a campfire to toast marshmallows in the firepit beneath a blanket of stars. With only the sounds of birdsong, farm animals and nature’s own soundtrack, it really is the ideal childhood camping experience.

Holme Valley Camping and Caravan Park, Holmfirth

Get the kids to leave iPads and other electronic devices at home and let them roam free! At Holme Valley there is a small play area for the little ones and a new bigger play area for older children too. You’ll enjoy plenty of space for kids to jump on their bikes and explore, kick a ball around or head to the woods for den building, nature trails and hide and seek. Collect a nature trail booklet from the shop or reception so that the kids don't miss out! Throughout the year, there are a variety of ‘have a go’ sessions, nature safaris, musical sessions, forest schools, circus skills, craft events and more.

Manor Farm Park, Skegness

At Manor Farm Park, there’s no shortage of exciting opportunities for the kids to explore the surrounding trees and countryside. With plenty of space to roam free and expend energy, children will love the play area, nature walks, seaside fun and animal farms nearby.

Plas Gwyn Caravan & Camping Park, Caernarfon

When Visit Wales invite you to ‘find your epic’, they may well be referring to the area surrounding Plas Gwyn Caravan Park. With culture and castles to conquer, beaches and coastline to explore, boat trips, thrilling watersports and days out steeped in history, you’ll have no trouble carving your own adventure in this part of North Wales.

family fun adventures by the stream

Silver Sands Holiday Park, Lizard

Silver Sands is an ideal base for your family holiday, with so much to see and do right on the doorstep; beaches, fishing villages, adventure parks, gardens, castles, zoo, walks, watersports, surfing…there really is something for everyone. Back on site after a busy day exploring, there’s a dedicated play area for under 6's, a newly built play area for under 14’s, a sand pit and an open grassy area where ball games can be played without disturbing campers.

Rowlands Wait, Bere Regis

A small play park at Rowlands Wait will keep the little ones entertained whilst a rope swing and surrounding woodlands provide Nature’s playground for bigger kids to follow trails, build dens and climb trees. With a little bit of imagination, you can become a nature detective, arrange a scavenger hunt, play hide and seek, build a kite to fly or set up an obstacle course to navigate…on your marks, get set, go! And for kids of all ages, the nearby tank museum has over 250 tanks on display to inspire and delight your play!

family fun children in the meadow

Tanner Farm Park, Marden

Children love Tanner Farm Park. The wide, open green spaces in the middle away from the caravan and tent pitches allow children of all ages to play safely, make new friends and have fun without impacting on the haven of peace and quiet. There’s a spotless, enclosed under 10’s playground with sandpit, slide, swing and baby swing, as well as a wooden adventure play area for older children. A large recreation field provides the perfect space for ball games, to play football and fly kites. If you’ve packed your bikes, kids will love riding up and down the circular area of ‘humps and bumps’ grass mounds, whereas the well maintained grass areas are ideal for children to learn to ride their bikes without stabilizers in a safe environment. On wet days, a small room housing a television and football table can become the perfect indoor space, also providing a teenage hub in the evenings. In the ‘Garden of England’, Tanner Farm Park is in a perfect location for some wonderful days out with your children including castles, steam trains, zoos and enchanted woods.

Loch Ken Holiday Park, Castle Douglas

Loch Ken is ideal for children of all ages with play parks, outdoor table tennis, sandpit, herb garden, giant draughts and chess set, football pitch, fishing, canoeing and bike hire. And if that’s not enough, close by you can try your hand at banana boating, water skiing, climbing, sailing, archery and much more. During busy periods, Loch Ken runs a Kids Club with lots of games and adventures for the whole family. It’s a great place to have fun, make new friends and just be a kid!

  • Tanner Farm Park

left quotesright quotesI love this site. It's set in beautiful surroundings and there are useful shops just down the road in the village, although I wouldn't touch the Chinese takeaway there with a barge pole (had food from there once and it was vile). The pitches are an excellent size and the park definitely doesn't feel crowded. All facilities are clean and well maintained.
